Never before -as long as I can remember - have the feds ever been more attentive to consumer needs regarding the real estate industry! And with good reason. How the real estate industry goes, so goes the nation's economy! Now, almost all home buyers can receive a tax credit on a home purchased before June 30th. There must be a contract in place by April 30, 2010 to be eligible for the credit and must be a first time homebuyer or someone who's owned their residence for 5 out of the past 8 years!
